Camu Camu is a tart berry that grows throughout the Amazon rainforest. The fruit itself is not edible, but when dried it can be ground into a fine powder that can be incorporated into supplements or smoothies. Camu Camu berries come from the Myrciaria dubia shrub and start out soft yellow in color and, when ripe, transform to a deep red hue.
