A great vessel to drink coffee from, hot or cold.

"I purchased a couple of these mugs using my Fresh Points and am so glad that I did. The light-weight, insulated glass lives up to its billing and is very comfortable to hold and is more enjoyable to drink from compared to any ceramic mug I've ever used. The only "downside" is that it doesn't make a good hand warmer when I need one."

Love this Mug!

"This is my new favorite mug. The double walled glass really insulates keeping my morning coffee hot. I also finds it holds a good amount and I like its overall shape and aesthetics filled with coffee. It is much lighter than I expected. It is supposed to be dishwasher safe - upper rack although I have been hand washing mine and is also microwave safe which I have done which is a plus."

Finally! I've Found My Kind of Coffee!

"Since I have epilepsy, I have to be very careful about coffee, tea etc. Other brands of coffee don't cut it. I taste the chemicals used to decaffeinate the coffee. They've actually made me sick! When I found Fresh Roasted Coffee, and their water processed decaffeinated coffee it's like I no longer have to be depressed because of my disability making me feel like I'm so different. I REALLY APPRECIATE FRC!"

"I used my points to order this mug and love it ! Not your standard mug. This one is a double wall mug, meaning the cup holding your coffee has an air gap between it and the outside. This air gap insulates the coffee chamber from the outside of the mug and keeps the coffee hot. Beside the insulation properties, being clear glass gives a neat look to the coffee, as it appears "suspended " ! The mug is very lightweight, as the glass is very thin, so it is extremely fragile, but a perfect way to enjoy every sip !"

This double-wall mug is 4.5 inches high.
Can this be used on a cup warmer?
We did a little scientific research and found that cup warmers (generally speaking) use an electric coil similar to a space heater or electric kettle. By keeping the material of the mug warm, your coffee or tea stays warm. Pretty simple, right? But the double-wall mug uses an air barrier between two glass layers. Air has lower thermal conductivity than glass and this air pocket acts as an insulator which keeps your hot beverage hotter for longer. So what happened if you put the two thing together? Well… we’re not sure because that would require a bunch of mug warmers, mugs, thermometers, and researchers but theoretically, this combination will keep your beverage warmer for longer than it it would using a regular mug. Be aware, one of the nice things about a double-wall mug is that the outside of the mug including the handle don’t get as warm - and using a mug warmer will make the handle of your mug toastier than it would be otherwise!
